Using the model of care for Lakes Mental Health and Addictions Services, Nik Andre and Jordy Bealing will share some insights into some of the factors that contribute to good patient experience from a Lived Experience perspective.
Te Ara Tauwhirotanga, model of care for Lakes mental health and addictions services was developed through extensive consultation and co-design with the community including service providers, service users, whānau, and local iwi. It identifies what the community said was important to them.
Jordy and Nik believe that this model of care can be applied to all health service delivery and are looking forward to talking this through with you.
