At the heart of Rotorua's healthcare education.

Rotorua Area Primary Health Services (RAPHS) is a primary care network delivering and supporting care delivery across the Rotorua District.

Why Learn with RAPHS?

RAPHS have been committed to providing education and improving health and wellbeing in the Rotorua region for over 30 years. We offer a stepping stone learning platform where professionals can expand and enhance their knowledge as they advance through our courses. All our training is specifically designed for healthcare professionals, with a focus on quality and relevance to current health topics. Utilizing skilled facilitators, the latest learnings, research, case studies and technology, we make it easy to expand your learning.

Our Goals

All RAPHS education is tailored for the user. With a focus on improving the wellbeing of our community. Our aim is to provide education that; supports clinicians in their care of patients; reduces ED attendances and hospital admissions; reduces health inequity; improves patient and provider experience.

CPD Points

RAPHS are endorsed annually by The Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners for continuing professional development points.

Learning outcomes and evaluations

We tailor all our education sessions around learning outcomes, one of which will always address New Zealand health inequities. We gather evaluations from every education session and regularly from our network. Ensuring learning outcomes are met and that there is continued alignment with RAPHS and our learners' goals. We will always strive to improve current education sessions and enhance the development of new courses.
